It has been a long time since I illustrated anything and I have reached the point where I wanted to kill my blog but then realized that I only felt this way because I was angry of myself for not making any effort to keep doing what I love. Studying and working on “the it magazine” is taking a lot of my time but I promised myself that I will try my best to at least draw something once a week! and I hope I don’t disappoint myself anymore!
This is Milou Van Groesen, the face of Georgio Armani “spring 2012 campaign”, obviously I couldn’t decide which background I want to work with so I wanted to share all three options here and I hope u guys like it!
Bras for a Cause is the first bra design campaign in the Middle East to start changing that. One Wig Stand and Fustany.com are partnering this year in Bras for a Cause to bridge the gap between Middle Eastern fashion designers and breast cancer survivors by introducing two lines of creatively designed bras as well as bra-inspired t-shirts from the winning entries of its contest: the first line of bras will be designed specifically with the breast cancer survivor in mind (to accommodate a prostheses), will be sold at regional lingerie boutiques (and online) to support regional breast cancer organizations.
Bras for a Cause was developed as a regional Breast Cancer initiative with the Breast Cancer survivor in mind raising awareness across the Middle East for this cause. working very closely with several Breast Cancer organizations in each country to achieve these goals and help as many women as we can in return.
Bras for Breast Cancer survivors will be donated free of charge to women who need them, whether she’s living in Cairo, Riyadh or Dubai. The collection of winning bras and t-shirts as well as well as auctions on exclusive pieces will also raise funds for these organizations as proceeds from the sales will go directly towards funding research, the cost of mammography and other breast cancer patient needs such as providing bras and wigs for women who can’t afford them to facilitate the recovery process.
